He was born July 28, 1916, to Joseph and Ellen York and attended Mining City schools. He was a cook at Warm Springs State Hospital and a member of Mountain View Methodist Church. Mr York and Irene Henderson were married in 1966 in Salmon, Idaho. She survives. Other survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Mr and Mrs Robert York of Butte; sister Mrs John Landhorn of Spokane and two grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 11 in Wayrynen-Richards Funeral Home with the Rev. John Bartram fficiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.8 |

Mrs. Chapman was a member of Presidio Chapter No. 481, Order of Eastern Star, the registered nurses association of California, and of "The Clipped Wings Club."8 |
