She worked for the East Whittier School District from 1968 to 1975 as a Media Specialist and taught the Great Books program for gifted children. She was a lifetime member of the California PTA and a YMCA volunteer, leading a 600-member "Nation" in the Indian Guide and Indian Maiden program. In 1976 she returned to Stockton where she was Corporate Secretary for Sun-Diamond for seven years, followed by twelve years as Administrator for Carey Development. In her "retirement" Adrienne's life revolved around her family and her love of learning. She was an avid reader, an expert in early English silver, a genealogist, history buff, and a consummate Scrabble player who began her mornings by finishing the New York Times crossword puzzle. Her intelligence, strength, dignity, kindness and warm heart made her beloved and respected by both friends and family. Linn, New Orleans, LA; nieces and nephews: Bruce (Majdouline) McClure, Tucson, AZ; Derek (Victoria) McClure, Carson City, NV; Thomas Buonaccorsi, South Lake Tahoe, NV; Kimberly Edge Slovatizki; Michelle Edge, Laguna Beach; John Edge; Dr. Christopher Linn, New Orleans; Tara Linn, New Orleans; great-niece Megan Slovatizki; great-nephew Adam McClure, and best friend and co-conspirator Tommie Tavernelli.
