(Mentioned) oObit11 June 1926 Dora Elizabeth Johnson was mentioned in the obituary of Elmer Warren Slaugh on 11 June 1926 at Vernal, Uintah County, Utah; Warren Slaugh Dies Suddenly Working at Saw Mill on Diamond Mountain.
While busily chopping timber in Davenport Draw on Diamond Mountain some thirty miles north of Vernal, Warren Slaugh, 48 years of age, was taken suddenly with sinking spells Wednesday and died a short time after, although everything possible was done to revive him. It is understood that heart failure was the cause of death.
Mr. Slaugh had gone to the mountain with his family to work for the summer at the H.C. Ruple Sawmill. On this particular morning he commenced work rather early so as to get the benefit of the cool hours of the morning. He put in a good three hours with two companions, when suddenly he swooned and told those near him that he felt a smothering feeling. He was carried to the camp, a short distance, and James Nichols who had a sheep camp nearby was summoned. After working with Mr. Slaugh for some time he revived and said, "I feel a lot better," and died instantly.
Word was brought to Vernal by Wallace Siddoway. George Slaugh, a brother of the deceased, and a son Owen and Leonard Slaugh, with Don Lewis went to bring in the body, returning to Vernal at 2 o'clock Thursday morning.
The deceased is survived by two brothers, John and George of Vernal and four sisters, Mrs. Sarah Robbins of Davis, Mrs. Florence Willis of Vernal, Mrs. Ada Nelson of Willow Creek, and Mrs. Dora Johnson of Davis, and by five children, Mrs. Hilda Hall of Ft. Collins, Colorado, Viola, Clarence, Martha and Ada.
Mr. Slaugh lost his wife and a daughter about seven years ago while living at Willow Creek on the homestead. Recently he has been making his home in Vernal where he has a home at the present time.
Funeral services will be held at Davis Ward as soon as word is received from Mrs. Ada Nelson of Watson.
The deceased is the son of John J. and Matilda Smuin Slaugh. He was born at Pleasant Grove October 15, 1877 and came to Vernal in the fall of 1885, being one of the first settlers in the valley. His parents were early pioneers and one of the first settlers at Pleasant Grove. At the age of 23, he married Annie Smuin of Hayden, Colorado. He was a very industrious person and well-liked by his associates.6
Death*16 March 1944 Dora Elizabeth Slaugh died on 16 March 1944 at Vernal, Uintah County, Utah, at age 65.2

oObit*11 June 1926  On 11 June 1926 at Vernal, Uintah County, Utah. Warren Slaugh Dies Suddenly Working at Saw Mill on Diamond Mountain.
He was a very industrious person and well-liked by his associates.8

(Mentioned) oObit11 June 1926 Sarah Eleanor Robbins was mentioned in the obituary of Elmer Warren Slaugh on 11 June 1926 at Vernal, Uintah County, Utah; Warren Slaugh Dies Suddenly Working at Saw Mill on Diamond Mountain.
He was a very industrious person and well-liked by his associates.9
