oObit*1 January 2007  On 1 January 2007 at Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah. Larry K. White
Larry K. White, best friend, husband, father, brother and uncle, left us to meet our Heavenly Father December 30, 2006.
Born in SLC to Peggy Hansen and Kenneth White. Larry; attended South High School and served a mission in Sydney, Australia. He married his best friend, Susan McFarlane, in 1980.
Survived by Suzy; daughters, Krystyl, Mistie, Codie; and son, Joseph. Also survived by his mother; sister, Judy Taylor; and brother, Gary (Fats) Chapman. Preceded in death by his father; sister, Patty; and twin brother, Barry.
Larry fought a battle with cancer for 8 years. He is a medical "anomaly" having originally been given 6 months to a year to live. His faith, positive attitude and courage found him often saying "I'm not pushing up daisies yet" or "it's a lick." The gospel of Jesus Christ, friends and family sustained him as long as he could bare it. He dearly missed his friends in the TSA, who always supported and called on a regular basis.
Thanks to the close watch and care of Dr.'s Litton, Belnap, Hashimoto, Hill and Probst, he was able to see his children accomplish many goals. He reveled in their sports, especially softball. With his love, a Girls Softball Scholarship will be funded for qualifying graduates at Olympus High School. TSA helped him accomplish his dream of fishing in Alaska and helped us when he could not work. JetBlue aided with family vacations and celebration for our 25th wedding anniversary in Australia as well as constant support. Special thanks to Robert Chorn and family for the many rescues provided. To all who offered their love, assistance and prayers, your kindness will never be forgotten.
Larry, we love you and wait anxiously to be reunited for eternity.
